Active Learning Through Scientific Discoveries

Through these age-appropriate lessons, students work hands-on with scientific issues and explore solution-oriented challenges together. Ignite students' curiosity with inquiry-based learning about realistic scientific concepts.

Innovative Scientific Learning with LEGO Education Science

LEGO Education Science is designed to enhance learning outcomes in science and includes over 120 engaging, standards-aligned (curriculum-based) science lessons and ready-to-use class presentations that bring science to life for teachers and students (grades 1-8 or ages 5-11).

Age-Appropriate Kits for Interactive Scientific Learning

LEGO Education Science is available in three different age-appropriate solutions. Each hands-on kit includes LEGO® bricks, building instructions, intuitive hardware, and a USB charging cable to engage students. The sets feature 120 curriculum-aligned, inquiry-based science lessons that are intuitive to set up and implement, maximizing lesson time and ensuring direct classroom engagement.

Teacher Portal

All lessons are freely available on a new digital platform for teachers via the LEGO Education website. Teachers can log in to the platform to access preparation materials, lesson plans, and class presentations that support the lessons.

What is the target audience?

LEGO Education Science is designed for grades 1-8 with three SKUs for the age groups: grades 1-3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-8. The exact target audience may vary by country based on specific curriculum requirements.

How many kits are needed per class?

For every four students, one kit is required. To avoid having more than four students per group, it is recommended to round up the number of kits. For example, in a class of 22 students, it is advised to use six kits instead of five. Classroom bundles are available for different class sizes.

What’s included in the LEGO Education Science Kits?

Each kit includes everything needed to get started immediately, including building instructions, LEGO bricks, and the relevant technical elements suited to the specific age group.

Are all lessons free?

Yes, all lessons are available for free through the Teacher Portal. However, teachers need to create a free account to access more than the three sample lessons.

Why is an account required to access the lessons?

When a teacher creates a profile, the learning experience is streamlined so that only the most relevant content is displayed based on the teacher's location and the age group they are teaching.
